Ecommerce Behavior Reports

Behavior Reports offer insight into the ecommerce actions of the consumers on your website.
Transactions are recorded when a special tracking script is executed on your confirmation page(s). This tracking script can be found on the Account / Get Tracking Script menu item.

Below is a breakdown of each Behavior Report on Santa Clause:


CONVERSION RATE This report shows a history of your site?s conversion rate. The definition of ?conversion rate? is the percentage of transactions per click-through.


This report is useful in evaluating campaign and pay-per-click effectiveness.


TRANSACTION CYCLE TIME This report shows a history of your site?s sales cycles. The definition of ’sales cycle’ is the amount of time between a visitor?s initial visit and the visitor?s transaction time. Sales cycles are only recorded for a visitor?s first purchase. Subsequent transactions are tracked in the ‘Time Between Transactions’ reports.


AVERAGE SIZE ORDER This report shows a history of your site?s average order size.


This report lists the data in chronological order from left to right on the chart. The table below the chart is listed in reverse chronological order from top to bottom.


If the timeframe for the report is by year, month or day, you can drill down to see details for the current time frame by clicking on the hyperlink on the left-most column in the table. This will re-display the same report with a more detailed timeframe.


FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS This report lists the numbers of transactions created by a customer for the first time ever and the percentage of first time transactions.


This report is helpful in seeing the results of marketing campaigns to see if they are generating higher numbers of first time customers.


This report lists the data in chronological order from left to right on the chart. The table below the chart is listed in reverse chronological order from top to bottom.

REPEAT CUSTOMER This report lists the numbers of transactions created by visitor for the second time or more and the percentage repeat customers.


This report is useful in seeing the results of follow-up campaigns to see if they are generating higher numbers of repeat orders.


This report lists the data in chronological order from left to right on the chart. The table below the chart is listed in reverse chronological order from top to bottom.

TIME BETWEEN TRANSACTIONS This report shows a history of your site?s time between transactions, measured in days. A related report is the ‘Transaction Cycle Time’ report. First-time transactions determine the sales cycle. Subsequent transactions determine the time between transactions.
