The Google PageRank listed in the Google Toolbar is actually several weeks old. Don’t get frustrated that your recent updated to your website aren’t showing up on Google’s PageRank simply because the reporting tool you are using doesn’t show real time results.

This large lag time accounts for a discrepancy between the actual PageRank that Google is using to determine the ranking of each of the pages on a website and the PageRank that is reflected in the Google ToolBar.
